ABOUT Urban Sports VIP

The Founder/President of Urban Sports VIP is A. Maurice Powell, Sr. He played linebacker at the prestigious Penn State University and was drafted by the Miami Dolphins. Andre experienced an exciting career in the National Football League with the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Carolina Panthers.

Upon his retirement, he pursued a corporate career in sales and business development with some of the most successful businesses in the world. Among those were CIBC Oppenheimer, Citizens Financial Services, GE Healthcare Financial Services and The Xerox Corporation.

The corporate training and experience that he obtained was invaluable in helping him build lasting business relationships. He earned his "Green Belt" in Lean Six Sigma and continues to apply the principals of business improvement methodology.

He has always been passionate about serving his community and Urban Sports VIP is the way to continue to serve. A. Maurice's combination of corporate and professional sports experience offers a unique perspective in how to merge both to perform a valuable service.
